Amen! at the track.
My brother’s outings are limited by Parkinson’s Disease. He changed his routine to increase his endurance. I changed my routine, that of church, for a sister/brother outing at the US 13 Dragway, Delmar, Delaware. Mission accomplished.
A long time ago I thought I would become a chemist! I have been in the world of science throughout my years. I think writing and particularly haiku and its forms are like chemistry. They are a distillate of a larger mass and require some technique and work to arrive there. I am a chemist/poet.

Sounds like it went ok–good. I was telling Mike, Bob’s neighbor, at the gym that you were taking him to the races. Just returned from Many Glacier back to Kalispell a couple hours ago. It’s been a wonderful hiking trip. See you your next trip East. Harriet
