I don’t know why I wanted to win one of those giant stuffed bears in neon colors at the carnival from the convincing barkers!
A long time ago I thought I would become a chemist! I have been in the world of science throughout my years. I think writing and particularly haiku and its forms are like chemistry. They are a distillate of a larger mass and require some technique and work to arrive there. I am a chemist/poet.
